3 Days in Provence, France

We are counting down the days until June 9th when we are able to once again visit the South of France, one of the chicest, most romantic destinations in our books. Whether you prefer to spend your days lazing at the infamous beach clubs of St Tropez or exploring the renown wineries of the Provence region, we put together an Andiamo-approved 3-day itinerary in Provence to kick off the Summer 2021 season right.

Day 1:

Many major US cities offer a connecting flight through Paris that will allow you to arrive in Provence on your first morning. Allow Andiamo to arrange a private transfer where you can relax and enjoy refreshments on your way to La Bastide de Gordes. Ease into your trip with a classic French brunch on the terrace of  L’Orangerie Bistro, overlooking the Luberon Valley and get acclimated with the serene amenities on property. In the evening, enjoy dinner al fresco at the property’s signature restaurant La Citadelle.

 Day 2:

Allow Andiamo to arrange a private driver and guide to meet you in the lobby to start a day of exploration…and wine tasting of course! Your private guide will take you to explore small villages, such as Arles, Van Gogh’s city, or Avignon to see the Pope’s Palace, before taking you to the highlight – tasting delicious fine red wines at vineyards Chateauneuf du Pape & Gigodas.  After a long day, enjoy a laidback dinner at La Bastide de Pierres, the property’s Italian trattoria just a few minute walk from the hotel.

Day 3:

Wake up refreshed and enjoy a leisurely breakfast on your terrace before head to the 17,000 sq ft Sisley Spa, featuring exclusive products from the prestigious French brand, Maison Sisley. Relax by the pool and eat lunch before heading to the stunning lavender fields. The best time to see the region in full bloom is throughout the month of June through mid-July. About 1hr north of Aix-en-Provence, you will find rolling hills of the Valensole Plateau, including working farm, Lavandes Angelvin, to purchase soaps, essential oils and other goodies. Return to the hotel to prep for your final evening and dinner at Michelin Star La Bastide de Capelongue where you can find regional farm-to-table dishes.
