Best Places in Mexico to Celebrate Halloween & Day of the Dead

While in the US, Halloween may remind you of trick-or-treating or more kid-friendly activities such as pumpkin patches and costume parties; however, in Mexico, Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is one of the most important holidays in the country and a celebration full of culture and remembrance. Many of Mexico City’s streets, restaurants and bars are colorfully decorated.

Sofitel Mexico will be offering an elegant and gastronomic themed dinner that will take place on October 30 from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, with a 4 or 5-course menu or an à la carte option that will include different local and seasonal ingredients.

Day of the dead parade and signature cocktails can be enjoyed in their Cityzen restaurant. With a view overlooking The Angel of Independence and the Chapultepec Castle, you will be able to enjoy the celebration from the highest floors of the city.

The Rosewood San Miguel has one of the most exclusive rooftops overlooking the city. Known for hosting the most elegant wedding in San Miguel. On November 1 st they will be having a buffet style dinner open to all clients, where traditional dishes will be served.
