Where We’re Headed Summer 2020

Over the past few weeks, we have finally risen from the depths of quarantine and people are starting to get back out into the world again! In the aftermath of COVID-19, this summer will surely be different from any of your past. While many travelers will still opt to drive when they take trips this year, airlines are continuing to ramp up the number of domestic (and some international) flights for July, August and into the Fall. To inspire you to seize the day this season, we wanted to share some of our favorite destinations that our clients and our team at Andiamo are traveling to this summer!

Chatham Bars Inn

Chatham Bars Inn is our go-to for visiting Cape Cod. Wake up to the sea at your fingertips at this quintessential American summer destination in the luxurious accommodations lining the Narragansett Bay. During the day enjoy a full-service beach, water activities, tennis and golf. Perfect destination for couples getaways, mini-moons or family vacations.

Castle Hill Inn

With a history dating back to 1875 and a waterfront location on a 40-acre peninsula, it’s hard to beat summer at Castle Hill Inn. Each of their 33 accommodations feature unique decor and stunning views of Narragansett Bay.

Our favorite accommodations are the Beach House Rooms - steps from the private beach with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Rosewood Miramar

Within easy reach of Montecito and Santa Barbara, Rosewood Miramar Beach sits on an idyllic stretch of pacific coastline. The property is a quick drive from the Santa Ynez Valley, making it our pick for those looking to explore the wineries of Southern California, but who also want to relax on the beach and enjoy the fabulous dining options the area has to offer.

Montage Laguna

One of our all time favorite R&R spots in SoCal! The Montage Laguna is one of our favorite family destinations, regardless of the season. We love the tucked away bungalows and villas, providing a private space for your family or group, but still close by to the hotels’ amenities. While you’re not far to go offsite to restaurants, we often find we never want to leave the resort while we’re here!

This year through December 31, all Andiamo travelers will receive a $500 resort credit for bookings of 3-nights or more. A further incentive to stay put and get pampered!

Calistoga Ranch

Set within the historic town of Calistoga, the 47-room resort sits on over 150 acres. The resort was built to preserve and highlight the beauty of the valley and to intertwine the property within the natural setting. In addition, individual casitas are set up throughout, making it the perfect spot for social distancing.

Carneros Resort & Spa

Nestled in the midst of 28 acres of wine country, the resort features guest cottages, suites and six luxurious homes. We love the cottages for an intimate getaway with your own private furnished outdoor patio. The resort’s signature restaurant FARM is not to be missed, featuring delicious fresh produce straight from the gardens and orchards on property.

Dunton Hot Springs

It’s hard to beat Colorado in the summer, but Dunton Hot Springs is not to be missed this year. Located in an alpine valley across the mountain from Telluride, this resort is a prime destination for staying away from crowds. The luxurious, rustic-chic accommodations are secluded and intimate. Get outdoors and soak in the natural hot springs or enjoy horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking and fly fishing amidst the San Juan peaks.
